Among our many patrons are vegetarians, vegans, and customers who keep kosher that all come for the flavorful taste and unique variety of food.
Kinneret Cafe was established 3 1/2 years ago by Avner & Karen Chriqui. After 20 years of working in the publishing field and producing four different magazines, they decided to change to the restaurant field and they’re happy that they did.
Avner, who was born in Morocco and was a hotel manager for 5 years in Israel, grew up with all the exotic tastes and flavors from his mother’s kitchen. He had a dream to open a restaurant for long time until he finally decided it was about time that he opened one in Cincinnati.
Karen loves to cook and gets the inspiration for all the exotic and interesting foods in Kinneret Cafe from many different sources. People constantly tell her that they love her food and come back again and again for another taste. They have gone the extra step to bring the freshest and best quality product into Cincinnati, for example, the pita is made in an Israeli Bakery in Miami, the feta is imported from Israel, and the falafel is made from fresh soaked chickpeas and all fresh ingredients.
